HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil)

HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) is a FAME & fossil-free, paraffinic fuel made from 100% renewable and sustainable raw materials using a special method of hydrotreatment (hydrotreating vegetable oils/animals fats), offering up to a 90% reduction in net CO2 emissions.
HVO has a quite similar chemical composition to fossil diesel fuel and can be used as a renewable fuel in existing diesel engine vehicles (pure or blended). It is a stable, renewable, sustainable fuel of high-quality, which offers better combustion, filterability, cold temperature performance and reduced particulate emissions. As it does not contain any esters or contamination, like regular diesel and FAME (Fatty Acid Methyl Ester), HVO can be stored for extended periods of time, with no adverse effects on performance.
